I had already benefited from her skilled, sensitive tuition at a Life Writing and Journaling workshop and looked forward to a lively session with lots of laughter. So true. I left feeling not only encouraged about my project, but surprised and delighted at some ideas that were shaken loose. And I do love the Writing Place - a dedicated base for writers in a quirky, light-filled house overlooking the ocean, with a graceful living/tutoring room and small spaces and nooks available for individual work.

Here's a peek at my writing place, a space dedicated to writing, pondering, thinking, imagining, learning, workshopping and chatting with other writers.
It's a house on my property at Arkles Bay and it is private, quiet, a block away from our lovely bay and beach, with great sea views from the front deck and green, leafy bush bustling with tuis and wood pigeons at the back.
There are spaces for writing and discussions, decks to sit on when the weather is nice and a cozy woodburner to keep things warm inside when it's not.
I hope that you will join me for my group sessions and workshops where we'll spend a day talking about and working on our writing projects, or perhaps an individual working session in a place that is conducive to the creative process. There's plenty of room to spread out, find a quiet corner, sit out on the deck or enjoy a stroll to the beach.
