First of all, I don't expect you to look like the guy in the photo, all muscled-up and ready to leap off like a tightly coiled spring.
But I do expect you to have the commitment of an athlete.
Writing is commitment. Writing is discipline and training. Writing is 'going the distance', at times it can be akin to the 'loneliness of the long distance runner.' Writing is sweat and toil, working those creative muscles that don't look like this guy's, but they are there, strong and pushing us along, flexing and moving us towards the finish line.
